Gina Easler and Katelyn Rearden fired the Lady Patriots up in the second half
with 6 points each. Kara Beck led the rebounding with 10 boards followed by

Note: The Patriots
despite having their worse shooting night played the Eagles close in the first
half only trailing 21-16 at the break. However, the Eagles took
advantage of the Patriots Gagnon and Courtney being in foul trouble in the
second half and ran away from the Patriots outscoring Wardlaw 27-8 in the
second half. Stephen Balentine led the Patriots with 13 points. The loss
dropped Wardlaw to third place in the region standings behind Newberry and
Laurens. Records: Wardlaw 8-4 (3-2 in SCISA Region 2-A).

traveled to Laurens on top of SCISA Region 2-A and returned home in third place
with Laurens and Newberry jumping ahead in the region race. The Patriots
loss rebounding power when Travis Gagnon and Harrison Courtney both fouled out
in the second half allowing Laurens to make the comeback. The Patriots
sent Laurens to the line 27 times where they were 17/27. The Laurens
zone defense held Wardlaw to only a 5/18 from the field in the second
half.
