JOHNSTON - The 2008 SCISA Eight Man state champion Wardlaw Academy Patriots will begin defense of their title when the team opens fall practice on Monday, August 3rd.
The Pats finished unbeaten at 12-0 and lost four seniors to graduation, three of whom went on to the college football ranks.
The Eight Man All-Star football game will be played on Saturday November 21, 2009 at a location to be determined. This year the All-Star game will be made up of juniors and seniors.
Meet the Patriots Night will give Wardlaw fans the opportunity to buy old uniforms that were used in the past.
It will be a night filled with nostalgia, where the old and new stars can get a piece of Wardlaw Athletic history by buying  basketball/football jersey's pants etc.
The best thing is that the items will be affordable, with every piece going for $5 each.
So bring a lot of $5 bills and relive the past.

This season the team will be under the direction of coaches Chalmer Carr, Bucky Faust, and Brian Anderson.
Starting quarterback Stephen Balentine will return under center, giving the Patriots a formidable weapon on both sides of the football.
