Members, partners and volunteers of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) recently spent a day on the greens and fairways at the NWTF's 11th annual Conservation Cup Golf Tournament.

"We could not have asked for a better day of golfing at beautiful Mount Vintage Plantation & Golf Club. Everyone had a great time, the weather was flawless and nearly 30 four-person teams came out to support the NWTF," said Rhett Simmons, NWTF director of special events.
The funds raised at the Conservation Cup will benefit Wheelin' Sportsmen NWTF and help further the mission of the NWTF, namely the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our hunting heritage.

Wheelin' Sportsmen NWTF provides all people with disabilities opportunities to enjoy the outdoors through local chapter events nationwide. Whether it is shooting, hunting, fishing or archery, there is no limit to the outdoor opportunities Wheelin' Sportsmen NWTF can bring to a person with disabilities who is eager to get outside and participate in an active lifestyle.

The NWTF is a national nonprofit conservation organization that is dedicated to the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our hunting heritage. Through dynamic partnerships with state, federal and provincial wildlife agencies, the NWTF and its members have helped restore wild turkey populations across the country, raised and spent more than $306 million, and conserved nearly 14 million acres of habitat for all types of wildlife.
