JOHNSTON - The Wardlaw Academy varsity softball team improved to 4-2 overall after pounding conference rival Newberry Academy 13-0 last Tuesday in six innings of action.

The Lady Patriots were led at the plate by Katelyn Rearden (2-3) and Gina Easler (3-3).

Pitcher Skylar Eargle earned the win on the mound, with Jessica Cole taking the loss for Newberry Academy.

Wardlaw plays host to Fox Creek this afternoon (Wednesday, March 31) starting at 5:30 p.m.
