Fox Creek Names South Aiken Assistant Wesley Brown As New Head Baseball Coach

NORTH AUGUSTA – Fox Creek High School announces the hiring of its new Varsity Baseball Coach, Wesley Brown.

Coach Brown will take over a Predator team that has won the Class A Region IV Championship 3 of the last 4 years and the 2010 District IV Championship.  Coach Brown will be coming from South Aiken High School, where he was the assistant coach.

His previous club recently played for the Class AAA state championship. Coach Brown’s 12 year coaching career includes local powerhouse teams such as Barnwell, where he was part of a 2 time state championship team. He also coached at Silver Bluff and Midland Valley High Schools.

Coach Brown states, “This is a great opportunity to lead a championship caliber club to the next level. I look forward to a long tenure and hopefully many successful seasons.”

Fox Creek Principal, Tim Murph believes, “Coach Brown personifies the winning spirit that we at Fox Creek wish to continue to develop in all of our student-athletes. His strong moral character will be a model for our players and I am confident that he will continue to improve upon our baseball program.”
