Strom Thurmond game postponed to Saturday, Wardlaw to play on Sunday
JOHNSTON - Strom Thurmond High School's varsity football game between the No. 4 Rebels (11-0) and visiting Southside High of Greenville has been postponed until Saturday at 7:30 p.m. due to rain.

No. 4 Strom Thurmond blasts Caps, 42-0
JOHNSTON - Once fourth-ranked Strom Thurmond took a commanding lead early over first round foe Columbia High on Friday, the only thing left in doubt was the possibility of another Rebel shutout. 

Undefeated Patriots ready to play
Wardlaw standout Stephen Balentine led the unbeaten Patriots (10-0) as they played host to Bowman Academy in the SCISA state playoffs on Friday at 7 p.m. With a victory on Friday, the Patriots advance to the Class A state championship game for the first time in five years (since 2003) when the team dominated Bowman Academy in a game played at The Citadel in Charleston. The Patriots received a bye last week in the playoff's first round.
