The Strom Thurmond Career Center Welding II class has completed their first two projects of the new school year. Project #1 is a trailer mounted smoker-grill combo ready for use. The grill is fully painted with all the extras. Project #2 is a free standing patio charcoal grill 48” by 24” painted and ready for use.

The two grills are now available for bid starting with the cost of materials for each. Bids are due November 2, 2009.  Grill and bidding information is available at Heritage Hardware.  The grills may be seen inside Heritage Hardware and for more information contact STCC Welding Instructor Bill Cheatham at 275-1767 or any welding student.  All money raised will be used to purchase welding supplies, winter jackets and supplies for the welding competition in May.
