FAFSA WORKSHOP AT STROM
THURMOND HIGH SCHOOL

A workshop is planned to help
seniors and their parents fill out the FAFSA on Thursday, February 19 at Strom
Thurmond High School in the library.

Assistance will be provided by
personnel from local colleges’ financial aid offices any time between 3 p.m.
and 7 p.m. Parents and students should bring all information needed to
complete the FAFSA, including 2008 tax returns and any financial
statements.

Participants will actually
complete the FAFSA online. The student and one parent need to each have a
PIN. Please have this number before coming to the workshop. A PIN
can be generated at www.pin.ed.gov. For more information, contact Rhonda
