Edgefield County School District Superintendent, Dr. Mary Rice-Crenshaw received a positive evaluation from the Board of Education following her performance evaluation. Dr. Crenshaw was evaluated using both an evaluation survey developed and completed by the board of education along with discussion among board members.

Mrs. Sallie Cooks, Chairperson for the Board of Education said, “With Dr. Crenshaw’s leadership, the school system is poised to take great strides in the education of our children. We look forward to working with her as she strives to move our district from good to great.”
