Mrs. Sybil Sharp Erwin, 94, of Circle Street in Edgefield, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.

Graveside services were held Thursday, April 9, at 2 p.m. at Eastview Cemetery.

Mrs. Erwin was born in Abbeville County. She was a member of Edgefield United Methodist Church and was retired from Kendall Company.

Survivors include a son, Sonny (Rose) Erwin; a daughter, Nancy (Marvin) English, both of Edgefield; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
