Ronald O. Coleman

Mr. Ronald O. Coleman, 66, of New Ellenton, died Monday, May 25, 2009 at Hospice Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood.

He was the husband of the late Barbara C. Coleman and son of Viola Harris Coleman of Edgefield and the late Thomas L. Coleman.

Graveside services were held Thursday, May 28, at 11 a.m. at Hollow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. David L. Holdman officiating.
Mr. Coleman was a native of Edgefield and had made his home in New Ellenton for the past 30 years. He was co-owner and operator of Coleman Residential Care Home in New Ellenton.

Survivors include a son, Robbie Coleman, Gainesville, Ga.; a daughter, Debbie Moreland, Ninety Six; two brothers, Michael “Monk” Coleman; Johnston, Tim Coleman, Lexington; two sisters, Becky Myers and Debra Palmer, both of Greenwood; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
