Mrs. Nell Talbert Timmerman, 92, wife of the late James W. Timmerman Sr., of Hwy 23 in Edgefield, died Tuesday, March 17, at National Health Care.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 20, at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Timmerman was a native of Edgefield County and was the oldest member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was the owner and manager of City Finance in McCormick.
Survivors include two sons, Bob (Glenda) Timmerman, North Augusta, and Dabney “Bubba” (Kim) Timmerman, Myrtle Beach; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Timmerman, Edgefield; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, James W. “Jimmy” Timmerman Jr.

Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
