Mildred Thomas Quarles
Mrs. Mildred Thomas Quarles, 78, wife of the late Tom Quarles, of Watson Street in Johnston, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church. Burial was in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.
Mrs. Quarles was a lifelong resident of Johnston and was a homemaker. She was retired from Riegel Division of Mt. Vernon Mills and was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia O. (Robert) Billue, Aiken; two granddaughters, Michelle Ouzts (Ryan) Orr, Aiken, Nikki Ouzts, Braselton, Ga; two stepgrandsons, Rob (Laura) Billue, Douglasville, Ga., and Chris (Deedee) Billue, Aiken; a great-granddaughter, Lillian Grace Orr; a great-grandson, Benton Ryan Orr; a stepgreat-grandson, Brice Billue; a stepgreat-granddaughter, Sarah Aubree Billue; a sister, Marjorie Thomas Yonce, Johnston; and a brother, H.W. Thomas, Ridge Spring.
Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
