Mike Norman

Memorial services for Mr. Mike Norman, 61, of Garrett Road in Edgefield, who died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, were conducted Saturday, June 13, at 4 p.m. at Posey Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lynda Sims, chaplain of Alliance Hospice officiated.
Mr. Norman was a native of Wisconsin, a former resident of Panama, having made his home in Edgefield County since 2000. he was a U.S. Army veteran and Civil Service retiree, who worked on the Panama Canal for 25 years. He was an avid deep sea fisherman and upon retiring enjoyed living in the country.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Susan F. Norman; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Angelica Norman, Marietta, Ga., and Daniel and Susan Norman, Charlottesville, Va.; a brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Sue Norman, Linn Creek, Mo.; five grandchildren, Jax, Matthew, Nicole, Benjamin and Valerie Norman.
