Mattie B. Butler Jennings

Mrs. Mattie B. Butler Jennings, 88, of Vann Road in Trenton, died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Edgefield County Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3, at 2 p.m. at Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Henry Curry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Jennings, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Hillary; and a son, Bishop Jennings, both of Trenton; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; an aunt, Beatrice Butler, Aiken; and a host of other relatives.
G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, North Augusta, is in charge of arrangements.
