Mrs. Marguerite C. Hammond, of Martintown Road in Edgefield, wife of the late V.A. “Bo” Hammond, died Sunday, April 5, at Hammond House.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 8, at 11 a.m. at Peace Haven Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hammond was born in Lavonia, Ga. and was a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church. She was a retired school teacher.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Chambers, Edgefield; a grandson, Seth Chambers, Edgefield; two sisters, Mildred Hart, Lancaster, Marilyn Williams, Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
