Mrs. Margie Deese Lewis, 89, of Aiken, died Monday, March 29, 2010.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 2, at Concord Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Dr. Elton Dunbar officiated. 

Mrs. Lewis was born in Johnston, daughter of the late Leon F. Lybrand and Marie Scott Lybrand.  She was married to the late Roy Lewis. Her favorite things were going to eat with her children and bingo at the Croft House.

Surviving are her children, Bobby Deese (Gloria) of Batesburg, Rita Snipes (Bruce) of Aiken, Patsy Cook (Jimmy) of Wagener, Frank Deese (Vickie) of Mississippi, Marie Penland (Eddie) of Aiken, Ronnie Deese, (June) of Aiken, Perry Deese (Chris) of Aiken; a sister, Althea Parrish; 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. 

She was predeceased by a sister, Annie Lois Asbill.
