Mrs. Lucy Williams Ashley, 93, of Trenton, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009 at Aiken Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. at Old Macedonia Baptist Church, with the Rev. Limuer Myers officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Ashley, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Old Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Blondie Young, Trenton; a sister, Annie White, Philadelphia, Pa.; two brothers, Henry (Pearl) Williams, North Augusta, and Louis Williams, Washington, D.C.; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.

G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, North Augusta, was in charge of arrangements.
