Louise Sibert Talbert
Mrs. Louise Sibert Talbert, of Edgefield, wife of Albert Talbert, died at Hospice House of the Piedmont, on Saturday, March 7, 2009.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 11, at noon at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Plum Branch, with the pastor, Rev. Melvin Gordon officiating. Assisting was the Rev. J.C. Williams.
She was born in McCormick on Aug. 18, 1949, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Essie Bell Talbert Sibert. She was a graduate of Mims High School and was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Plum Branch. She was a retired employee of McCormick County School District.
In addition to her husband, survivors are three sons, Feltonnous (Cherae) Talbert, McCormick, Lavictor (Shara) Talbert, Indian Trail, N.C., and Altavious Talbert, Edgefield; a sister, Minerva Martin, Charlotte, N.C.; five brothers, Robert lee Sibert Jr., Ben Otis Sibert, James Sibert, and Lawrence Sibert, all of McCormick, and Ernest Sibert, Groveland, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Walker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
