Lloyd Cannady Sr.
Mr. Lloyd Cannady Sr., 90, of Highway 28 in Plum Branch, died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the V.A. Medical Center in Augusta, Ga.
Mr. Cannady, a native of McCormick County, was a member of Cedar Spring Baptist Church.
Survivors include six daughters, Elizabeth (Thomas) Morgain, McCormick, Pamelia Moton, Plum Branch, the Rev. Carmilla (Willie) Simpkins, Edgefield, Verlinda (Tony) Thomas, Columbia, Denise Yeldell, Greenwood, and Betty White, Charlotte; three sons, Lloyd Cannady Jr., McCormick, Thomas Cannady, Greenwood, and Samuel Cannady, Plum Branch; three sisters, Essie (Willie) Thompkins, Greenwood, Leila (Joe) Edwards, Chicago, Ill., and Fannie (George) Searles, Washington, D.C.; two brothers, William Tom Cannady, McCormick, and John W. Cannady, Detroit, Mich; 35 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, Edgefield, was in charge of arrangements.
