Latane McClendon Mayers

Ms. Latene McClendon Mayers, 49, of Lexington, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008 at Lexington Medical Center.

Private graveside services were held Friday, Dec. 12, at Eastview Cemetery in Edgefield.

Ms. Mayers was born in Augusta, Ga. and was the daughter of Harold L. and Elizabeth Ouzts McClendon. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, survivors include a daughter, Ashley Griffin Mayers; and a brother, Daniel L. McClendon.

She was predeceased by a sister, Gale McClendon Jarriel. Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
