Jesse J. Turner

Mr. Jesse J. Turner, 91, of Edgefield, husband of the late Mary McGee Turner, died Friday, May 8, 2009 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 14, at 11 a.m., at Edgefield First Baptist Church, with burial in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park with military honors.
Mr. Turner was born in Trenton and was a member of Edgefield First Baptist Church. He was retired service manager for Pendarvis Chevy-Olds. He was a veteran of World War II and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. He was a Master Mason and was a member of the American Legion Hezzie Griffis Post #30.
Survivors include his daughter, Ann (George) Long, Woodland Park, Colo.; and three grandchildren, David, Peter and Caroline.
Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
