Jerry Tyron Tyler Sr.

Mr. Jerry Tyron Tyler Sr., of Whispering Pines Road in Ridge Spring, died Friday, June 12, 2009.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 16, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Batesburg, with the Rev. Dr. Ronnie Peterson officiating. Burial was in B & L Memorial Garden in Leesville.

Survivors include his wife, Tarangie Tyler; five daughters, Montana Gantt, Pauldecea Gantt, Ty’Quazja Gantt, Ty’Miyah Tyler, Ja’Cee Tyler, all of Ridge Spring; two sons, Jerry Tyler Jr., Ridge Spring, Eric Smith, Norfolk, Va.; three grandchildren; parents, Mary Tyler and Maryland Tyler (Patricia); three sisters, Denetra Baker, Vernita Brown, Theshonna Tyler; five brothers, Jerica Tyler, Rev. Reginald Corley, Raymond Landy, Theron Tyler and Theo Tyler.

Davis Funeral Home, Inc., Ridge Spring, was in charge of arrangements.
