Mr. Jeffrey M. “Jeff” Daniels, 46, of Country Place Road, husband of Natalia Winn Daniels, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at his residence.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 13, 2009, at Edgefield First Baptist Church with Reverend Stacy Williams and Dr. Tony Hopkins officiating. Burial followed in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park in Edgefield with Highway Patrol honors.

Mr. Daniels was a native of McCormick County and the son of Mrs. Doris West Daniels. He was a member of McCormick United Methodist Church and attended Edgefield First Baptist Church. He graduated with an associate degree from Piedmont Technical College and the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Jeff was a Retired Trooper with the South Carolina Highway Patrol. He served as a baseball coach for Edgefield Dixie Youth Baseball for several years and worked for Winn Construction.

Survivors include his wife, son - Seth Daniels and daughter - Averie Daniels of the home, his mother of McCormick, four brothers - Joe (Marcia) Daniels, Stafford, Va., John Daniels, James (Debbie) Daniels, Jay (Cheryl) Daniels, all of McCormick. He was predeceased by his father, John Thomas Daniels, Jr.
