James Price Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. James Price Jr., of McCormick, were held Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Shiloh A.M.E. Church, with the pastor, Rev. James Louden officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Price was born in Edgefield on Sept. 17, 1948 to the late James Ezra Price Sr. and Ellen Miles Price. He was a member of Shiloh A.M.E. Church and the Sons of Aide Society #30. He was a retired employee of Satterfield Construction Company.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patricia Worden Price; a daughter, Stephanie Price, Greenwood; two sons, Travis (Lucinda) Price, Atlanta, Ga., Joseph (Ashley) Price, McCormick; his mother, Ellen Price, Ridge Spring; five sisters, Betty (Denny) Kinard, Ridge Spring, Lillie (Alvin) Herbert, Columbia, Mary Cadette, Aiken, Jeanette Martin, Atlanta, Ga., and Barbara (Sharone) Davis, Aiken; three brothers, Eddie T. (Ellen) Miles, Newman, Ga., Lewis E. Price, Columbia, and Willie Price, Ridge Spring; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Walker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
