Mr. Jack Ouzts, 86, of Edgefield, husband of Lucille Reynolds Ouzts, died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 9, at 11 a.m. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. Burial was in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.

Mr. Ouzts was a native of Edgefield and was a member of Edgefield Church of God. He was a retired textile worker and was a veteran of World War II.

In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Dianne (Dennis) Wall; a son, Jackie Ouzts,; a brother, John Ouzts, all of Edgefield; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a grandson, Dennis Borden.
