Georgia Mays

Mrs. Georgia Mays, 66, of Belvedere, died Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Odyssey House in Decatur, Ga.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 13, at 11 a.m. at Old Piney Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Mays, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Old Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Minister Janie (David) Valentine, Augusta, Ga.; six sons, Casey Mays, Jackie Mays, Tyrone Mays and Frankie Mays, Stone Mountain, Ga., Bobby (Sharon) Mays, North Augusta, and Greg Mays, Belvedere; three sisters, Brodies McCain, Bertha (Henry) Houston and Dorothy (Herman) Broadwater, North Augusta; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, North Augusta, was in charge of arrangements.
