Frances Hewitt Green

Frances Hewitt Green, 86, of Edgefield, formerly of Graniteville, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab. She was the wife of the late James Franklin Green.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 3 p.m. at Graniteville Cemetery, with the Rev. Lowell Clark officiating.

Mrs. Green had made Graniteville her home for 60 years before moving to Edgefield in 2005. She was a member of St. John's Methodist Church in Graniteville.

Survivors include two sons, Michael J. Green, Vaucluse, and Mark A. Green, Ridge Spring; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
