Essie B. Adams

Mrs. Essie B. Adams, 87, of North Augusta, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 12, at 11:30 a.m. at Young Macedonia Baptist Church, with the Rev. G.L. Brightharp officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Adams, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Young Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Bertha (Horace) Daniels, North Augusta; a brother, Walter Bennett, Augusta, Ga.; a grandchild, Sonya D. Butler; a great-grandchild, James D. Butler; an aunt, Nonia Crafton, North Augusta.; two godchildren, Maxine (Larry) Jefferson, Graniteville, and Teddy (Bernice) Crafton Jr., Augusta, Ga.; and host of other relatives.

G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, North Augusta, was in charge of arrangements.
