Mrs. Ellen Quattlebaum Willis, 83, of Monetta, died Thursday, April 9, 2009.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 11, at 3 p.m. at Ridge Spring Cemetery, with the Revs. John Steele and Vollie Gibbs officiating.

Mrs. Willis was born in Aiken County, the daughter of the late Ernest Quattlebaum and the late Ruby Howard Quattlebaum. She was the wife of the late Ben Willis and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Monetta.

Surviving are her children, Alex Willis (Ivie) and Debbie McIntosh (Sammy) of Monetta; grandchildren, Shaylah McDonald (Barry) of Leesville and Joel Deer, (Hank) of Aiken; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt McDonald and Owen Deer.

She was predeceased by a brother, Alton (Pete) Quattlebaum.
