Elizabeth Clark Dixon

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Clark Dixon, 88, of Amherst Drive in North Augusta, who died Thursday, June 11, 2009, were conducted Sunday, June 14, at 3 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor James K. Glander officiated. Burial was in Pineview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Dixon was a native of Johnston, having made North Augusta her home for the past 58 years. She was a charter member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was a Nursery Class teacher for over 50 years and a member of the Rececca Circle.
Survivors include her two sisters and a brother-in-law, Harriet C. and Charles Lucas and Jean Clark, all of Johnston; a niece, Lisa Jones and her husband Dennis, Martinez; two nephews, Paul Clark Lucas and his wife Karen, Charleston, Robert N. Risinger and his wife Dawn, Lexington; great nieces, Charlotte Corrow, Sarah Lucas and Kasey Risinger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Ernest and Gertrude Yonce Clark; her husband, Paul Thomas Dixon Sr.; her son, Paul Thomas Dixon Jr.; and her sister, Sadie Clark Risinger.
