Mr. Daniel Fallaw, 68, of Monetta, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The Revs. Vollie Gibber and Charles Yoho officiated.

Mr. Fallaw was born in Ridge Spring, son of the late Dan and Grace Autry Fallaw. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class and was a former deacon. He was an Army National Guard veteran. He was a Mason and member of Lodge #134 of Ridge Spring. He also coached Little League baseball. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Rodgers Fallaw; sons and daughters-in-law, Lance (Michelle) Fallaw, Ridge Spring, Anthony (Denise) Fallaw, Monetta; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Beth (Allen) Oxendine, Monetta, Cindy (Joey) Foreman, Jackson; a brother, Robert Fallaw, Ridge Spring; sisters, Barbara Riley, Batesburg, Mary Hallman, Gilbert; and nine grandchildren.
