Funeral services for Ms. Angela Denise Holmes, of Johnston, were held Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Walk of Faith Tabernacle in Johnston, with the Apostle Roger Edwards, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Survivors include her parents, Ronald and Ernestine Hawkins, both of Johnston, Michael Holmes, Johnston; Godmother, Mattie Mae Key, North Augusta; two sons, Jon’Tez Holmes and Tyrree Holmes, both of Johnston; two daughters, Mordecai Holmes and Asjah Holmes, both of Johnston;; a Goddaughter, Sha’Kiya Weaver and her dog, Diamond, Johnston; two paternal grandmothers, Annie W. Holmes and Rena Glover, both of Trenton; three brothers, Dana Hawkins, New York, Ronald D. (Theresa) Hawkins Jr. and Tony Holmes, both of North Augusta; three sisters, Sonya Margarita (Darrio) Holmes and Christina Michael Holmes, both of Johnston, and Marsha LaShone (Dwayne) Hawkins, Aiken.

Amos & Sons Funeral Home, Johnston, was in charge of arrangements.
