Dear Subscriber,

As you no doubt noticed, you did not receive this week’s copy of The
Citizen News in the mail Wednesday as expected. Let me be the first to
apologize for that.
You are a valued subscriber to our hometown newspaper and we strive
to do our very best each and every week to make sure your newspaper is in
your hands each Wednesday. Unfortunately, even in this wondrous age we
do, on occasion, encounter issues which push circumstances beyond our
control. This is what took place on Tuesday evening when a mechanical
failure delayed delivery of your newspaper.
The problem has been isolated and corrected, but delivery was
nonetheless delayed until today. I can assure you that we are doing everything
possible to review our processes to avoid any reoccurrence of this problem
in the future.
Again, please accept my apology for this tremendous inconvenience
and as always we thank you for being a valuable part of our family here at
The Citizen News.
