Vacation is always a fun time to get away from the daily grind and find some relaxation.
So I asked the kids what they liked most about the time off.
Dylan said he got to watch “Dino Dan” a lot.
Sara said she “got to watch ‘Team Umizoomi’ a lot and color, and I played with Dylan and I went to the Movie Center and watched Cars 2.”
Dylan said he saw Lightning McQueen, “and Mater.”
It was the first time we had been to the movies in a while, and I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed it. If you love James Bond movies it would be hard not to enjoy Cars 2, so I really appreciated that whole plot line from the writers.
The kids also spent a couple of days at Aunt Paulette’s house, which was cool.
“We watched ‘Air Buddies’ for five days,” Sara said (even though they were only there two days.
They truly had a BLAST and the break really was great for all of us. You could really feel a big difference in the house. A lot of the tension had been eased. When you stay cooped up in a house with the same folks all the time, even if you love them it can get rough.
Just that short break had dissipated all of that.
And as for us, Mommy and Daddy got the house nice and clean, removed lots of clutter and I was able to get the grass cut. A winner no matter how you slice it.
Have a great week!
