Ms. Tudor illustrated other author's books and her own, had four children, made a beautiful child-sized dollhouse which was exhibited in Williamsburg, made and costumed dolls and marionettes.
Her art and her life are interchangeable. She was involved in 87 books in her lifetime while using her own children and animals as models.
She had parrots, chickens, goats, cats, and her favorite Corgi dogs. She also raised most of her own food, had beautiful gardens of flowers, vegetables, and herbs - all of this being shown in a video called Take Joy which was shown at the beginning of the program.
Mrs. Adamick also showed copies of Tasha Tudor's children's books, The Dollhouse Book, and her cookbook. Mrs. Adamick has illustrated a book written by her daughter Jody Cromer for her daughter called The Princess of Hope Hill, which she sells at the Butterfly Heart Gallery in Ridge Spring.
She and her daughter have visited local schools teaching the children how to "build a story" and sharing their love of writing and drawing.
