Monday, December 6, 2010, the Edgefield County Alliance will host its monthly meeting at 7:30 a.m. at Piedmont Technical College, Edgefield Campus.

Everyone interested in learning about issues which affect Edgefield County is invited to attend. Breakfast will be served. A small donation $3- $5 to help cover the cost is suggested.

Allen Easler, a prevention specialist at Cornerstone, the Greenwood-Edgefield-McCormick-Abbeville Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, will be speaker for the meeting. He has worked in the alcohol/drug abuse prevention field since 2000.

In an effort to understand the needs of the County better, Allen is conducting a survey of those who are willing to share their thoughts about DUI and underage drinking in Edgefield County. Anyone who lives, works, or attends school in Edgefield County is invited to take the survey.
