5 Suspects Now Charged in Hayes Drive Home Invasion

The Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office has now arrested a total of five suspects in connection with the shooting incident that took place on Hayes Drive last week.

Last week, Daniel Wayne Reynolds, 26, of Edgefield, left, and John David Keplinger, 19, of Johnston, were arrested and are being held at the Edgefield County Detention Center without bond in the case after being charged with 1st degree burglary.

This week brought new developments in the case as ECSO made three additional arrests.

Jgeorgerard Marshall, 28, and Neil Evan Beasley, 31, both of Johnston, were taken into custody and charged with accessory after the fact of a felony.

Also, a 16-year-old male suspect was arrested and charged as an adult with 1st degree burglary.

He is not being identified at this time, and is currently being held at the department of juvenile justice in Columbia.

26-year-old Theodore Campbell, of Johnston, was shot and killed in the July 30 home invasion after entering the home and exchanging gunfire with at least one person inside the home.

The case remains under investigation.
