JOHNSTON - Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Craig Wooten announce the engagement of their daughter Meghan Leigh, to PFC Bradley Michael Smith, USMC.
He is the son of Donna Michele Carter of Hephzibah, Ga. and the late Michael Rudolph Smith of Bedford, Ind.
The bride-elect is the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Blackledge of Edgefield and the late Thomas Calvin Wooten. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Kneece Sr. of Johnston.
PFC Smith is the paternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Smith of Bloomington, Ind. His maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Spoto of Hephzibah, Ga. and the late Philip Waters of Hephzibah, Ga.
The wedding is planned for Feb. 14, 2009 at Johnston United Methodist Church.
