The Edgefield Community Development Association invites everyone to the 4th Annual Downtown Drive-in movie night on the Square in historic Edgefield on Saturday July 16, 2011. Bring your family, your neighbors, and your friends and gather around the Edgefield Square for the showing of “Star Wars.”

Concessions will be available. Activities for the young, and the young at heart, will begin at 8:00 pm on the Edgefield Square. Come dressed as your favorite Character, Alien, or Droid from the Movie. There will be a costume contest for the best dressed character from the Movie. Please make sure all dogs are on leashes and that they enjoy being around young children. (The ECDA will not be held responsible for any bad behavior from your pets.)

Remember to bring your lawn chairs or blanket and enjoy another fun-filled movie night under the stars. The movie will begin at Dark with the Wachovia Bank Building again being the movie backdrop. Parking is available at the Discovery Center parking lot, the Dialysis Center, Edgefield First Baptist, and along the side streets of Edgefield. The Edgefield Police Department will ensure that the event remains a safe and friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy.
