Mrs. Ruth Quattlebaum Edwards, 87, wife of the late Jack Edwards, of Lakeview Drive in Johnston, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, March 2, at 2 p.m. at Johnston United Methodist Church. Burial was in Mt. of Olives Cemetery.

Carolyn Anne Baugh

Mrs. Carolyn Anne Baugh, 70, of Clarks Hill, wife of the late Victor Baugh, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2010 at her residence.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m. at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Patton officiating. Burial was in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Baugh was a lifelong board member of Lost Wilderness Property Owner’s Association and also a member of Clarks Hill Lost Wilderness Volunteer Fire Department. She was also a breast cancer survivor.


Angelle Bussey Herring

Mrs. Angelle Bussey Herring, 85, of Edgefield, wife of the late William Clifton “W.C.” Herring, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010 at Edgefield County Hospital.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m. at Red Oak Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve Cartin officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Herring was a native of Edgefield County and retired from the Bank of Trenton (now First Citizens Bank) after many years of service as a bank teller. She was a member of Red Oak Grove Baptist Church and was active in the Red Oak Grove WMU.

Mr. Albert Louis “Tick” Lott Jr., of Johnston, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 at the Edgefield County Hospital.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. at Walk of Faith Outreach Ministries in Johnston, with Pastor Roger Edwards officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.


Minnie Page Doran

Mrs. Minnie Page Doran, 73, of Roland Avenue in Johnston, wife of Robert L. “Bob” Doran, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010 at her residence.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home with burial at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.

Mrs. Doran was a native of Virginia and was a member of Amick Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a retired textile worker and a homemaker.
